Parent-teacher-student Meet for Class X (28/08/2024)

 A Parent-teacher-student Meet for Class X was organised on 28th August 2024. The evaluated Answer- books of Pre-mid were shown in the meeting in addition to discussion about the performance of the students.

Parent-teacher Meet for Classes VI to IX (27th August 2024)

 A Parent-teacher Meet for Classes VI to IX was organised on 27th August 2024. The evaluated Answer- books of Periodic Test I/Pre-mid were given in the meeting.

Janmasthami(26/08/2024)

Janmasthami was observed in the school premises on 26/08/2024 with full vigour and zest. The programme started with lamp lighting ceremony by Principal. There were Krishna Bhajan presentations by students of class IV & V and a dance drama on Baal Krishna by students of Balvatika  I, Balvatika  II & Balvatika III. A speech was also delivered by teacher, Sri Ram Prawesh Suman. Parents & Well-wishers too attended the programme. Sweets were also distributed at the end of the programme among all the attendees. After the programme there was also a pot breaking competition for the students of classes I, II & III.  The parents too had some fun performing the same activity after the competition for students.

Madhavdev Tithi 2024

Madhavdev Tithi was observed after the morning assembly at school on 24th August 2024. The death anniversary of the great saint reformer was commemorated with presentation of borgeet by teachers, Sri Bhaskar Jyoti Gogoi (vocal) and Sri Dipak Kumar and Sri Nayan Borkataki (in instruments). The life and work of Sri Sri Madhavdev were also presented by Smt. Banashree Chetia, a teacher, through an eloquent speech. 

Parent-teacher Meet for Balvatika I to Class V was organized on 21st August 2024

 A Parent-teacher Meet for Balvatika I to Class V was organised on 21st August 2024. The evaluated Answer- books of Periodic Test I of Balvatika II to Class V were given in the meeting.

Raksha Bandhan 2024

Raksha Bandhan was celebrated at VKV(NEEPCO) Doyang on 19th August 2024 with joy and sanctity. The auspicious day started with a programme which included tying of the sacred thread to the portrait of Swamiji, a song on the bond of brothers & sisters and  an eloquent speech on the occasion. All these were followed by Aarti and Rakhi tying by Sister teachers to Brother teachers and then among students. After the programme, students of class VI & VII along with a few teachers visited DHPS (NEEPCO) office, CISF and SBI,Doyang. 

Moreover, the following competitions were conducted on the day:

i) Rhymes Competition for Balvatika classes

ii) Poem Recitation for Classes I, II & III

iii) Rakhi Drawing Competition for class IV & V

iv) Rakhi Making Competition for classes VIII, IX & X 

STUDENTS' PARTICIPATION IN THE INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE(15/08/2024)

Students of VKV(NEEPCO)Doyang participated in the Independence Day Parade at Sanis in the Subdivision Level Programme of the Govt. Of Nagaland.

INDEPENDENCE DAY (15/08/2024)

The momentous occasion of 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervour. The celebration at school started at 7 a.m. with the hoisting of the Tricolour. The programme included Presentation of Patriotic song and leading of Swadesh Mantra by the students of class X. A speech was delivered on the significance of the day by Sri Laldeo Yadav, a teacher. The programme ended with the singing of the National Song. A few parents too joined the programme.

After the school programme the students attended the NEEPCO Programme at IB. The attendees included  NEEPCO Executives & Staff, students, teachers, staff and parents of VKV(NEEPCO)Doyang, officers & other personal of CISF, Nagaland police, Officers & staff of State Bank of India, Doyang. Students of the Vidyalaya presented Patriotic song and demonstrated Yoga in the programme.
