SAMARTH BHARAT PARVA (28/12/2021),INAUGURAL CEREMONY

The Samarth Bharat Parva was inaugurated on 28th December 2021. The teachers attended the programme who altogether sang Vande Mataram at the beginning. Sri Biplab Chakraborty, a senior teacher delivered a speech on the significance of the day thereafter which was followed by a lead & follow patriotic song. The programme was conducted with the offering of flowers to the portrait of Bharat Mata by all the teachers and the chanting of Shanti Mantra.






NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY (22/12/2021)

 National Mathematics Day was observed in school on 22nd Dec, 2021 (Wednesday). Students of classes III, V, VIII,IX & X were present in the programme. A speech on the significance of the day was delivered by Sri Biplab Chakraborty, Mathematics teacher. It was followed by a quiz competition among the students which was conducted by Mathematics teacher, Sri Rajesh Bhorali. The correct answer givers in the competition were awarded too.







SWEATER DISTRIBUTION BY CISF (22/12/2021)

AMRIT PARIVAR MILAN ON THE OCCASION OF GEETA JNANA YAGNA (16/12/2021)

 Amrit Parivar Milan was organised on the occasion of Geeta Jnana Yagna for the teaching & non-teaching and the family members at 6:00 in the evening. The programme started with Mangalacharan and a bhajan led  by the music teacher, Smt. Arpita Puzari. Then, Sri Mithun Das, Hindi teacher spoke on the significance of bhagawat geeta. There was individual presentation of Bhagawat Geeta chanting by all the teachers thereafter amidst which Su. Nibedita didi’s letter on the occasion of Geeta Jayanti was read aloud by Sri Nayan Borkataki. The programme ended with a lead and follow patriotic song.





75 LAKH POST CARD CAMPAIGN

 As a part of ongoing celebrations of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav(AKAM) the Department of Post, Ministry of Communications, in collaboration with Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education proposed the “75 lakh Post Card Campaign”. And accordingly Post Card Writing Competitions were organised in school for the students of classes IV to X from 15th to 18th December 2021. A total of 85 students participated in the competition out of which 10 Post Cards with best ideas were shortlisted and submitted at the CBSE portal.





GEETA JAYANTI (14/12/2021)

 Geeta Jayanti was observed on 14th December 2021 in school with the students of classes II,IV, VI, VII,IX & X. There was Bhagawat Geeta chanting led by a group of students. Sri Mithun Das, a teacher delivered an eloquent speech on the significance of Bhagawat Geeta. He spoke about the meaning and the message relevant to our daily life that Bhagawat Geeta gives. There was also a lead and follow bhajan presentation which was followed by chanting of Geeta for daily life by a group of students. The programme was concluded with Shantimantra.

TRIBUTE TO CDS GENERAL BIPIN RAWAT (13/12/2021)

Homage was paid to Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat, who martyred in a chopper crash on 8th December 2021. Principal expressed condolences and spoke about the brave soul in the assembly. Flowers were offered to his portrait by all the students and teachers thereafter. 







STATE LEVEL PAINTING COMPETITION ON ENERGY CONSERVATION BY BUREAU OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY, GOVT. OF INDIA

A State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation was conducted by Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Govt. of India through the Nodal Agency, DHEP(NEEPCO) on 8th December 2021 at East Gate Hotel, Kohima. A total of six students participated in the competition out of which three students went in Group A (V,VI,VII) and the other three students in Group B (VIII,IX,X). Kr. Victor D. Sangma, a student of class IX bagged the third prize in the competition and Km. Temsurenla Ao, a student of class VII also brought laurel to the school with the Consolation Prize.
