Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Doyang is situated in the campus of Doyang Hydro Electric Project (DHEP), (NEEPCO), Doyang, and District: Wokha, Nagaland.
A day-long Continuous Professional Development Programme for teachers on NEP, 2020 was organised by CBSE at VKV(NEEPCO) Doyang on 28th January, 2025 . The resource person, Sri Umesh Chandra Harbola, Principal, Delhi Public School, Numaligarh, Assam, conducted very interactive and interesting sessions with a total of 24 participants. Among them, two teachers were from VKV, Golaghat.
The 76th Republic day & the Rani Gaidinliu Jayanti were celebrated in Vidyalaya with great patriotic fervour. The tricolour was unfurled by the Principal of the Vidyalaya at 7:30 a.m. which was followed by his speech. A patriotic song was also presented by a group of students. Sri Satyam Saikia, a senior teacher, delivered a speech on the significance of the day. The programme in the school ended with the singing of the National Song.
After the school programme, the students and teachers joined the celebration organised by DHPS, NEEPCO. Students participated in the parade and also performed yoga and patriotic song in the programme.
A Parent-teacher meet for classes VI to IX was organised on 23rd January, 2025. The answer books of Periodic Test II/ Post mid examination were distributed in the meeting and the progress of the students was also discussed.
VKV(NEEPCO)Doyang observed the birth anniversary of the great patriot and freedom fighter, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose during the morning assembly. The Principal of the Vidyalaya paid tribute by offering flowers to the portrait of the great personality. A speech was also delivered on the life and work of Netaji by Sri Saurav Dutta, a teacher. Also, a group of students presented a patriotic song in honour of the great freedom fighter.

Annual Cultural programme & Prize Distribution Ceremony for Secondary section was organised on 13th January,2025 as a part of the celebration of National Youth Day & Vivekananda Jayanti. The programme was graced by Sri Ch. R John Zelliang, HOP, DHPS & Executive Director NEEPCO, Sri Laishram Yamaiba, Deputy Manager(HR) DHPS, NEEPCO , Sri Manish Kumar, Deputy Manager (Finance) DHPS, NEEPCO, the Assistant Commandant, CISF, Doyang, Sri Divakar Pandey and the Inspector of CISF, Doyang, Sri Mahindra Singh. The attendees also included parents and well-wishers in addition to students and the entire staff of the Vidyalaya. The programme was initiated with a lamp lighting ceremony by the esteemed guests. Sri Ch R John Zelliang motivated and praised the students through his inspiring speech. The programme included chanting of Bhagawad Geeta shlokas by the students of class X.There were songs and dance performances too. The prize distribution ceremony included prizes of CCA and sports events of the session 2024-25.
A Pushpanjali programme was organised for the staff and their family members on the occasion of Vivekananda Jayanti (12/01/25).In addition to offering flowers to the portrait of Swami Vivekananda,the brief programme included a speech on the significance of the day and a patriotic song by a few teachers.
