Independence Day
Independence Day was celebrated on 15^th August 2014 with great joy. Students of all classes attended the hoisting of flag by in charge Sri Vijay Kr. Upadhaya. There were speeches by students and teacher. Students presented two patriotic songs. After the brief celebration at school the students and teachers attended a function arranged by NEEPCO.

Geeta Jayanti

Geeta Jnana Yajna was observed in our school with different activities. Students of classes VIII to X participated in a discussion on Karmayoga slokas along with its explanation, under the guidance of Sri Rupesh Kr. Singh.

Saraswati Puja

Sri Sri Saraswati Puja was performed with lot of enthusiasm and devotion among students. Parents and students took prasad after rituals were performed. All the NEEPCO, CISF officials and a large number of people enjoyed the community feast.

Wall Magazine :

Wall Magazine Inaugurated by HOP

First wall magazine for the session was prepared by class IX and X on May 2013. This was inaugurated by HOP DHEP, NEEPCO, Doyang. Literary and artistic genius of students made it splendid.

Environment Day :

Tree Plantation by Sr. Manager, DHEP

On 5^th June 2013 the school observed environment Day. A few officials from NEEPCO initiated the plantation drive. Students brought saplings from their homes which were planted in the school campus.

On 26 June 2013 School observed International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The program was organised to create awareness on dreadful impacts of drugs. This meeting was led by Major of Assam Rifles and Deputy Commandant CISF.

Annual Sports Meet:

Race for primary section

Annual Sports meet was organized on 2^nd and 3^rd December. Enthusiastic participation from students from all classes made the event a successful one for all. Deputy Commandant CISF,Major Assam Rifles and Sr Manager Civil NEEPCO were the distinguished guests present on the inaugural ceremony. In their inaugural speech the distinguished guests encouraged the students expressed their satisfaction over the performance of the school in various activities.

Alumni Meet:

The school organized an alumni meet for the former students on 30 December. 25 students of previous batches participated in the congregation. On this occasion a wall magazine was inaugurated by the chief guest, Deputy Commandant CISF. A special session on Career Guidance was arranged for the alumni. The session was conducted by the chief guest, Deputy Commandant CISF.
