Universal Brotherhood Day, 2025 Celebration at VKV(NEEPCO) Doyang
Swami Vivekananda’s momentous representation in the World Parliament of Religions on 11th September 1893 was commemorated. The day was planned with three programmes starting with a programme at school with students which was initiated with a lamp lighting ceremony by Principal Incharge, Sri Rajkumar Tiwari and an eloquent speech on the day's significance by Sri Laldeo Yadav, a teacher. Swamiji’s iconic and historic speech was delivered both in English and in Hindi by Kr. Ganpatrei Pamei of class VIII and Kr. Harsh Yadav of class VII respectively . There was also a Patriotic song presentation by a group of students and a lead & follow song from Padawali. The song was led by Smt. Deepshikha Kalita, a teacher. The programme also included the presentation of Swadesh Mantra by a student of class IX, Km. Lochumi C Ngullie. Various competitions were also conducted for all the classes after the programme as a part of the celebration. The competitions were as follows:
i) Pledge Competition : BV I to Class III
ii) Kendra Prayer Competition : Classes IV to VII
iii) Vivek Vani Competition: Classes VIII to X
A programme was also conducted at CISF premises,Doyang unit at 4 p.m. Students of different classes presented a befitting song. Here too, the soul soothing speech of Swamiji was delivered by two students in Hindi and English. A speech on the significance of the day was also delivered by Sri Laldeo Yadav, a teacher. The Assistant Commandant of CISF, Doyang, Sri Diwakar Pande, too spoke on the day's significance and extended his gratitude for conducting such a programme in the CISF premises.
The third part of the day's celebration was at school premises for the sisters of yoga varga. The programme included a speech on the day's significance by Sri Rajkumar Tiwari, Principal Incharge followed by a group patriotic song presentation by the lady teachers of the school. A speech was also delivered by a parent, Smt. Jonali Bora. She also presented a self-prepared song (both lyrics and music) on the theme of Universal Brotherhood Day. The programme also included the iconic speech of Swamiji by a student in Hindi.

Teachers' Day Celebration on 5th September 2025
The birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was observed on 05/09/2025. There was a short programme after the morning assembly where flowers were offered to the portrait of the great philosopher followed by singing of guru bandana by the girls of class IX in assamese.Sri Rajkumar Tiwari, a teacher, delivered an eloquent speech on the significance of the day. The Class X students who performed as teachers of the day were also introduced in the programme by the Principal of the Vidyalaya, Sri Tanmay Sarkar . The day's classes as well other activities were conducted thereafter by them.
The second part of the day's observance was a cultural programme by the students of class X which included speech on the significance of the day, group and solo dance & song performances etc.

An awareness programme on safety measures during natural disasters was conducted by NDRF at our school on 29/08/2025. Students of classes VI to IX attended the programme.

Celebration of Srimanta Sankardev Tithi
VKV(NEEPCO)Doyang celebrated the Tirubhav Tithi of Sri Sri Srimanta Sankardev on 25/08/25. The programme was initiated with prarthana to the Gurujana followed by speeches delivered by Smt. Nilakhi Duarah, a teacher, and Km. Sukanya Saikia, a student, on work and life of the Assamese Polymath. The programme also included solo and group borgeet and Diha Naam presentations by students and teachers.
A Solo Bhajan Competition for the students of classes VI to IX was also conducted after the programme.
