Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) was conducted from 6th July to 9th July 2026

A series of Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) was conducted from 6th July to 9th July 2026 for the students of Classes III to X. The meetings were organised to facilitate meaningful interaction between parents and teachers regarding the academic progress, behaviour, attendance, and overall development of the students. Answer books of Periodic Test-I (classes III to X) were distributed in the meeting.

The PTM schedule was as follows:

6th July 2026: Classes III to V

7th July 2026: Classes VI to VIII

8th July 2026: Class IX

9th July 2026: Class X

Parents attended the meetings and interacted with the class teachers and subject teachers. Teachers apprised the parents of their wards' performance and discussed various measures for further improvement. Parents also shared their observations and suggestions, making the interaction constructive and fruitful. 

A Talk in Connection with International Yoga Day 2026

 A talk was organised in connection with International Yoga Day on 22 June 2026 (Monday) in the school premises. The programme focused on the theme "Benefits of Yoga for a Healthy Life." The resource person, Dr. Munindra Saloi, DGM (M&HS), DHPS (NEEPCO), addressed the students and teachers on the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life. He explained how regular yoga practice improves physical fitness, mental well-being, concentration, flexibility, and overall health. The interactive session motivated the participants to adopt yoga as a lifelong habit for leading a healthy and balanced life. There was also a lead and follow Patriotic song by a group of class X students. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.

Swami Vivekananda's Punya Tithi 2026

 Swami Vivekananda's Punya Tithi was observed with reverence and devotion at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO), Doyang on 4th July, 2026. The programme commenced with the chanting of Mangalacharan and offering of floral tributes to the portrait of Swami Vivekananda by the Principal Incharge , Sri Satyam Saikia, as a mark of respect to the great spiritual leader and patriot.

This was followed by a soulful song dedicated to Swami Vivekananda by the students of Class VIII, which inspired everyone to imbibe his ideals of patriotism, strength, self-confidence, and service to humanity.

On the occasion, Smt. Sabita Jana delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the life, teachings, and ideals of Swami Vivekananda. Her address motivated everyone to strive for excellence while upholding the ideals propagated by Swami Vivekananda.The programme concluded with the Shanti mantra.

 Our school team secured the 2nd Runner-Up position in the CBSE Cluster-I Kho Kho Tournament (Under-14 -boys) for the session 2026–27, hosted by Wisdom Public School, Mirza, Guwahati from 1st to 3rd August,2026.
