Prize Distribution Ceremony of the Sit and Draw Competition conducted by Doyang Hydro Power Station for the students of classes VI, VII & VIII as part of Swachhata Pakhwada

 A Prize Distribution Ceremony of the Sit and Draw Competition conducted by Doyang Hydro Power Station for the students of classes VI, VII & VIII as part of Swachhata Pakhwada  on 25/05/2026  was hosted on 30/05/2026.

The programme commenced with Mangalacharan, followed by the welcome address by the Principal. A melodious lead-and-follow song added vibrancy to the occasion. The song was led by Class VII students. Dr. Munindra Saloi, DGM, M&HS, DHPS, NEEPCO delivered an insightful speech on the importance of cleanliness and its impact on health and well-being. He emphasized the need for maintaining personal and environmental hygiene for a healthier society.

The prize distribution ceremony was then conducted to recognize and encourage the young participants for their creativity and awareness regarding cleanliness. Thereafter, Sri Z. Ovung, DGM, Technical, DHPS, NEEPCO addressed the gathering and highlighted the vital role of the community in creating and sustaining a clean environment through collective responsibility and active participation.

A Swachhata Pledge was administered, reaffirming the commitment of all present towards cleanliness and environmental stewardship. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the anchor and the Shantipath.

The event successfully promoted the message of cleanliness, community participation, and environmental responsibility among the students and attendees.

Rabindra Jayanti 2026

The birth anniversary of the great poet, patriot , philosopher and nobel laureate, Rabindranath Tagore was observed in the school on 8th April, 2026. Flowers were offered to the portrait of Gurudev  Rabindranath Tagore by the Principal of the Vidyalaya.The life and remarkable contributions of the great Bengali Polymath were briefed by Sri Sumanta Roy, a teacher. There was also a Rabindra Sangeet presentation by the students of class IX and also a dance performance on Rabindra Sangeet by a group of students of class I & II.

VIDYARAMBHA 2026-27

 VKV(NEEPCO)Doyang cheerfully and warmly welcomes the little ones of Balvatika I with the start of the academic session 2026-27. Vidyarambha Ceremony for the little ones was organised on 30th April 2026. The ceremony started with a welcome speech by Primary Incharge of the Vidyalaya,Sri Satyam Saikia,followed by performing puja by Sri Nayan Borkataki, a teacher, offering flowers to Omkara, Goddess Saraswati and Lord Ganesh and writing of Omkara on a plate of rice by the students. The programme ended with the sharing of the rules & regulations with the parents by Jyoti Rekha Gogoi, a teacher, which are to be followed in school by the students and taken care of by parents.
