World Wetland Day (07/02/2020)

Wokha Forest Division organised “World Wetland Day, 2020” programme in school on 7^th February 2020. Sri Lansothung Lotha, RFO, Doyang & Baghty conducted the programme where Sri Prabir Kumar Ghosh, DGM (Civil),DHEP,NEEPCO marked as a special guest. The programme was also graced by Smt. Zuthunglo Patton, IFS, DFO, Wokha, Sri Chisayi, IFS, DFO, Doyang along with a few personnel of DHEP, NEEPCO. Students of classes VII, VIII & IX attended the programme and were made aware of the destructive effect of plastic. A documentary screening was another part of the programme. Besides these, good quality drinking water bottles were distributed among the students taking away the ones made of low quality plastic. There was also a bottle painting activity for the students for repurposing the collected bottles instead of dumping in the environment.

Annual day 11/01/2020

VKV(NEEPCO) Doyang celebrated its Annual day on the eve of National Youth Day and Swami Vivekananda Jayanti at NRC auditorium. The programme was graced by the General Manager and Deputy General Manager of DHEP,  NEEPCO and Asstt.  Commandant of CISF,  Doyang. The Principal of the Vidyalaya, in his welcome address  highlighted the activities and accomplishments  of the current session.He also narrated the great leadership of Eknathji in setting up the Rock memorial and founding Vivekananda Kendra, the former celebrating its 50th glorious year due to which a mass contact programme ' Ek Bharat Vijayee Bharat' has been undertaken. The esteemed guests appreciated and encouraged the students along with giving away prizes.The second part that is the cultural programme was full of vibrancy and elation. Students presented Patriotic and folk songs as well as dance. Another attraction of the programme was a dance drama based on 'Ek Bharat Vijayee Bharat' representing the whole scenario of the establishment of Rock Memorial.

Annual Sports (07/01/2020 to 09/01/2020 )

VKV (NEEPCO) Doyang inaugurated three-day long Annual Sports Meet 2020 on 7/01/2020, which will continue till 9/01/2020.The inaugural program was graced by the Head of Doyang Hydro Electric Project (NEEPCO) and Asstt. Commandant of CISF, Doyang unit. The former in his speech highlighted the importance of games and sports in life and encouraged the students to play with true sportsmanship. Various games and sports such as Badminton, football and field and track events are organized. All the students are seen participating with great enthusiasm in both individual and house wise competitions.

International Yoga Day(21/06/2019

Vivekananada Kendra Vidyalaya(NEEPCO),Doyang observed the fifth International Yoga Day in two places- School premises and NEEPCO Hall (NRC).

Personality Development Camp (28/05/19 to 01/06/19)

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya(NEEPCO),Doyang observed 5 days Personality Development Camp for the students of class VI from 28/05/19 to 01/06/19. The camp was inaugurated in the presence of the Asstt. Commandant of CISF of Doyang unit Sri Sunil Rawat Sir. In the Valedictory programme students shared their experiences along with the presentations of different activities.

Free IT Workshop (03/05/2019 To 06/05/2019)

Indian National Fellowship Centre(INFC) extended a Free IT workshop in VKV(NEEPCO) Doyang from 3rd to 6th of May,2019. It was initiated by the honorable Governor of Nagaland- Shri P. B Acharya Sir. Students and teachers of the school as well participant teachers from other schools of Nagaland attended the workshop with great enthusiasm.

 Vidyarambha Ceremony (01/05/2019)

VKV(NEEPCO)Doyang organized the auspicious occasion of VIDYA ARAMBH ceremony on 1st of May, 2019. Students of LKG along with their parents attended the ceremony and completed the rituals.
