On World Environment Day Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Doyang conducted various activities throughout the day namely Drawing competition (for the classes I, II & III), Presentation on vegetables (for classes IV & V) in which students prepared charts by drawing pictures of vegetables along with their benefits and presented the same, Presentation on leaves of plants/trees (for the students of classes VI, VII & VIII) in which students prepared charts by pasting the leaves which have some medicinal values or other benefits and writing few sentences on it. The same was presented in the assembly. Another activity on the occasion was gardening by the students of classes IX & X in which students brought some plants with pots and placed them at suitable places in school. They are to take care of the plants doing the needful from time to time for the whole session.
Apart from all these the students securing the top four positions in each category in the Drawing Competitions held on 29th May 2023 as a part of Mission Life (Lifestyle for Environment) programme organized by DHPS,NEEPCO attended a Prize Distribution Ceremony at NRC hall in which they received their prizes.
