In view of the World Wetland day celebration, Wokha Forest Division in collaboration with Eco-warriors,a Nature Conservation Organisation, Nagaland conducted a drawing competition on 31st January 2024 in school for classes III to IX. Prior to the Drawing Competition the team headed by Sri Ningsanglong Lonchari, chairperson of Eco-warriors organisation, made a Powerpoint Presentation on the topic 'Wetland' describing in detail the importance of it for a balanced ecosystem.The Drawing Competition that was conducted thereafter was based on the following topics:
i) Wetland Ecosystem for classes III & IV
ii) Wetland and human well-being for classes V to IX
There was also a cleanliness drive for the students of class VIII & IX.
