Gandhi & Shastri Jayanti was celebrated at school on 2nd October 2024. The programme started at 9:00 a.m.. Dr. Dipul Chandra Haloi, DGM, M&HS, DHPS, NEEPCO and Sri Diwakar Pandey, Asst. Commandant, CISF, Doyang were the distinguished guests in the programme. The programme was initiated with the lamp lighting ceremony and a welcome speech by the Principal of the Vidyalaya .Patriotic song and bhajan were presented by students in the programme. A speech on the significance of the day was also delivered by Sri Manik Chandra Deori, a teacher. Dr. Dipul Chandra Haloi, in his speech, spoke on the vital and inspiring role of the two great personalities, Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The programme also included a Prize Distribution Ceremony. After the Programme, a drawing competition on Energy Conservation was conducted for the students of classes V to X.
