The Independence Day celebration was organised at VKV (NEEPCO) Doyang on 15 August 2026 with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The programme was anchored by Km. Jaanmani Swargiary of Class X.
The programme commenced with the National Song, followed by the flag hoisting by the Principal, Sri Tanmay Sarkar. The National Anthem was then sung by all present, creating a solemn and patriotic atmosphere.
The Principal addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of Independence Day, reminding everyone of their responsibilities towards the nation. This was followed by a melodious patriotic song, in which the students participated enthusiastically.
Sri Rana Pratap Gogoi, a teacher, delivered an inspiring speech on patriotism, national unity and the duties of responsible citizens. The Swadesh Mantra was then led with devotion and patriotic spirit by Km. Nzani A Murry of class X. The students of Class V presented a vibrant dance performance, which was enthusiastically appreciated by the audience.
